The astrology of July 2026 is some of the most anticipated and talked about by astrologers – and without doubt is exciting!
Celestial energy is alive, vibrant & dynamic, a source of very real and discernable energies that we can and do – feel and react to! Astrology functions as a celestial mirror that reflects ourselves and the unfolding themes in the world around us.
4 of the slowest moving planets all reach 4° of fire and air signs. Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are linking up through trines and sextiles forming a pattern that astrologers are calling Barbault’s Basket.

15th July – Uranus sextile Neptune
18th July – Uranus trine Pluto
20th July – Jupiter trine Neptune ~ Jupiter opposite Pluto
21st July – Jupiter sextile Uranus
25th July – Neptune sextile Pluto
Minor Grand Trine – Uranus, Neptune & Pluto
The outer planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – are all in a rare, potent, harmonious alignment, a Minor Grand Trine. A magical triangle which began to align in 2024, opening up a compelling cosmic catalyst of energy through into 2028.
When this powerful alignment is exact – which is happening right now – with Neptune at 4° Aries, Uranus at 4° Gemini, and Pluto at 4° Aquarius, the influence intensifies. The magical triangle will also exactly align again at 6° of the signs in June 2027, highlighting that the shift in emphasis, the spark of change and initiative in the air now is not bringing forth an instant transformation, it’s going to be a gradual, long-term process of discovery and adjustments.
A Basket Pattern Forms with Jupiter in Leo
Making this moment even more pivotal, Jupiter, having recently entered Leo, is also at 4° and making exact aspects to all the outer planets – thus linking up with and amplifying the magical triangle.
Jupiter aligning with this configuration means a very rare, wondrous planetary alignment is peaking now, a basket pattern which is being called Barbault’s Basket.
Barbult’s Basket
The Barbult Basket is named after the magnificent French astrologer André Barbult who spotted and studied this extraordinary planetary arrangement.
André Barbult is well known for his work observing and examining historical planetary cycles, who with incredible accuracy predicted the 1989 collapse of the Soviet Union, and that a pandemic would occur in 2020/2021.
Neptune is the apex planet of the magical triangle, and the recent Saturn-Neptune conjunction in February means Saturn actively participates and contributes to the energy.
In Planetary Cycles Mundane Astrology André Barbault says about the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and the magical triangle:
“The next conjunction in 2026 is centrally placed at the beginning of Aries and is in a triangular quartet of planets with a double sextile to a trine between Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius.

Definitely uplifting! And blissful to imagine and ponder, but may seem a little elusive – a long way away – at this moment in time.
Because it does raise questions: Is there truly going to be a collective awakening? Is it really possible?
As this astrology is not a magical wand that brings forth a sudden, instant transformation. But there is long term cosmic support to discover the right path forwards and empower long-term plans.
