Eventful & Thought Provoking
February could feel both eventful and thought provoking, full of go – then a pause to reflect. A chain of events in life that could strike as both meaningful and fateful; and triggers our inner emotional landscape to re-view events, re-orient our inner narrative, and align with what lies ahead.
Eclipse Season, Saturn-Neptune & Mercury Retrograde ~ Stop and Go
We enter Eclipse Season on 17th February with a Solar Eclipse (followed by a Lunar Eclipse – 3rd March), the rare Saturn-Neptune conjunction is on 20th February, and Mercury goes retrograde on 26th February – which means the energy is both “Stop” and “Go”.
As the combination of the Solar Eclipse square Uranus bringing swift, unpredictable changes, Saturn-Neptune defining a new future reality with Mercury Retrograde bringing delays to re-view all that has ended and is now beginning – connects to bring “Stop” and “Go” energy.
A transformative, but tricky, blend of energies in the sky, that unite to simultaneously bring activating and reflective energy, with the cosmic purpose of igniting beginnings and concluding endings, both in our individual lives and collectively. The energy that is unfolding shows we will be going through an inner process of change so that an external transformation in our lives can become reality. During this time we could experience feelings of nervousness, excitement, or confusion.

And it’s very much a time to replace our fears and doubts with our faith in the divine – and let Pisces energy guide us.

Key dates
Uranus Direct
- Uranus stationed direct on 4th February, and leaves Taurus for good when he re-enters Gemini on 26th April.
Uranus directs his impulses inwards whilst retrograde, so change occurs in our inner world first, before becoming outwardly expressed. If we have been either too extreme or too reserved, Uranus retrograde will have brought this to our attention, and now we get to express the changes in our attitudes and behaviour externally.
Uranus direct ignites momentum. A noticeable surge of awakening and acceleration that gives free rein to the urge for change and push for action, both personally and collectively.
Saturn at the last degree of Pisces
Saturn is currently at the last degree of Pisces. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is where the divine and material realms converge, and symbolic of the end of the soul’s journey into wholeness where the seeds are planted for the next cycle.
The end, within which is the seeds of a new beginning. The point where every year the Sun ends the old year, before illuminating the new year at Spring Equinox when the Sun enters 0° Aries.
- The sabian symbol for 30° Pisces is – “The power of the visualized ideals to mold the life of the visualizer.”
- Saturn is giving us our final lessons. Mentoring us as we review all we have learnt about our spiritual progress and release old karmic bonds/cycles. Through honest self-reflection, personal accountability, forgiveness of others and making positive changes.
- Old illusions and circumstances are definitively ending and karma is being cleansed. Relationships that are superficial may end and fated, soul-bonds strengthened.
- We are gaining spiritual and emotional maturity, establishing what has solid foundations, and crystallizing our plans for the future.
Mercury enters Pisces ~ 6th February
In Pisces, Mercury is empathic and intuitive. Mercury (mind) is in detriment and fall in the mystical realms of Pisces, as thoughts and words become fluid – emotional and dreamy, instead of literal and logical. Communications could be vague or misunderstood – lack clarity and decisiveness.
A potent time for messages to arise from the spiritual realms, as thoughts and language are merged with heightened spiritual awareness. Soul-level language, absorbed and interpreted through emotions, vibes, impressions and subtle information. Intuition is enhanced and insights flow through our dreams, inner voice, spiritual practices and creative musings/expression. Which can enrich our emotional understanding of people and situations and ability to communicate with compassion. Along with connecting us with inner knowing of higher wisdom that opens up healing and guidance.
Venus enters Pisces ~ 10th February
Venus is exalted in Pisces. Venus adores Pisces, her energy flows harmoniously here. Love, values and creativity are spiritually elevated, move from the physical to the divine realms. Emotional depth, unconditional love and devotion, sacred bonds and unearthly, blissful, creative expression/artistic appreciation. Putting us in touch with compassion, empathy, and healing, for our own and others earthly imperfections.
Mercury enters the retrograde pre-shadow period 8° 29’ Pisces ~ 11th February
During Mercury’s initial passage of the retrograde zone the events and experiences that unfold are likely to offer an idea of the themes on the horizon for the retrograde phase. What may need re-thinking or re-doing, so being prepared for things not going exactly as planned is a good idea.
Saturn enters Aries ~ 14th February
Saturn is in fall in Aries, he is not comfortable here but still powerful, and is supported by the outer planets. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – are all in a rare, potent, harmonious alignment, a Minor Grand Trine (2024 -2028). Neptune is the apex planet of this magical, transformational triangle, and so Saturn plugs into, and activates it (2025/26).
Saturn has an important role to play in creating lasting, structural, beneficial change. To help build a new reality.
